The music of A Little Farther West evokes the spirit of classic western movie soundtracks. The Oklahoma duo, consisting of Robert Maxwell Case on guitar and vocals
and his wife Susie on continental combo organ, offers up a retro sound featuring generous amounts of tremolo and reverb. In the work of A Little Farther West you'll hear the echoes of guitar heroes
Duane Eddy, The Ventures, and The Shadows, as well as of renowned western motion picture composers Dmitri Tiomkin and Ennio Morricone.
Robert Maxwell Case has been a modern journeyman solo entertainer all of his working life. He has appeared as opening act in concert with dozens of headliners
including Marty Robbins, Riders In The Sky, and Asleep At The Wheel.
Robert met his wife Susie during his ten years performing in Branson, MO. In 2014 she began playing keyboard behind his guitar and vocals and the duo of A Little
Farther West was born.
Based in the Tulsa, OK metro, the group is active in the Oklahoma chapter of the national Western Music Association. A Little Farther West has appeared as opening act
in concert with Michael Martin Murphey and Sons Of The Pioneers.
